Vance from Georgia was safe and there was really nothing he could do, so the Finebaum caller stayed on the line.
On Tuesday, the caller revealed to SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum the he stayed on hold for his chance to get on the show even as a tree crashed through his bedroom window.
“I don’t know what else the hell to do,” he told Finebaum.
He said he was a “little in shock, heard and felt a noise and a boom.”
Vance said he and his dogs were safe.
“Nothing I can do this second,” he told Finebaum. “That’s why I didn’t hang up the phone and panic.”
Without missing a beat, Vance then asked about LSU’s football program and the number of players in the portal.
