With a pair of free throws in the fourth quarter on Sunday, Jan. 25, Stephen Curry passed John Havlicek while tying Paul Pierce on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. He eclipsed Pierce (26,397) with a stepback 3-pointer in the first quarter vs. the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, Jan. 28 and now sits at 19th.

He recently passed Kevin Garnett for No. 21 back on Dec. 29 vs. the Brooklyn Nets.

If he stays healthy, he could go as high as 12th by season’s end, leapfrogging over Tim Duncan, Dominique Wilkins, Oscar Robertson and Hakeem Olajuwon, among others.

Curry’s been filling up the stat sheet in the month of January, averaging 24.4 ppg while shooting 38.8% from 3-point range.

Steph Curry moves to No. 19 on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, passing Paul Pierce.

He had 13 regular-season games with 35-plus points after turning 37, passing Michael Jordan (12) in a 123-115 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Only LeBron James (38) has more all time.

This season alone, it’s his ninth such game of scoring 35-plus points or more, only trailing James for most such games in a season after turning 37, who had 14 such games back in the 2022-23 season.
