TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – A Tyler doctor’s photo landed him in the history books when he captured one of our nation’s tragedies.
Dr. Scott Lieberman captured the space Shuttle Columbia breakup, an image that was seen around the world.
“It’s always been humbling to me,” Lieberman said. “It’s obviously an incredibly sad story. I grew up in the era where the space shuttle was, and space program in general was important to me. Going to the moon was was part of my childhood…And so it was very sad to, to sort of see what had happened here.
