11 things you can buy for the same price as the $2,900 Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold

I still can’t get over the fact that Samsung is asking a whopping $2,899 for the Galaxy Z TriFold. Whether it ultimately becomes the phone-meets-tablet hybrid of my dreams remains to be seen, but that’s still an obscene amount of money to shell out for a handheld device..

I can certainly appreciate how it could serve double duty and lighten my load during my commute. Yet, I can’t overlook the fact that I could use that money for something else. While I’m confident the TriFold is going to be one of the best foldable phones around, it does make me wonder what else you could buy for about the same price.
