The Suns (29-19) are coming off a 114-96 win over East leader Detroit (34-12) as Dillon Brooks scored a career-high 40 points in leading Phoenix to victory.

The Cavaliers (29-20) begin a five-game road trip in Phoenix as they’ve won their last five games, with the latest victory coming in dominant fashion over the Los Angeles Lakers, 129-99, on Jan. 28.

Cleveland blitzed the Suns in their first matchup, 129-113, on New Year’s Eve.

Jalen Green is available after missing Phoenix’s last three games under right hamstring injury management after tweaking the hamstring in a Jan. 23 loss to the Atlanta Hawks to end a six-game road trip.

Green played just two games after missing 33 consecutive games with the hamstring injury before experiencing tightness against the Hawks and playing just four minutes in the loss.

The 23-year-old guard has only played four games in his first season with the Suns, who acquired him from the Houston Rockets in the Kevin Durant trade before the 2025 draft. Green played every game in his previous two seasons with the Rockets.

Devin Booker is out with a sprained right ankle as he’s scheduled for re-evaluation this weekend. He missed Phoenix’s last three games after suffering the injury in the second half against the Hawks.

The Cavs are down Darius Garland (right great toe sprain), Evan Mobley (left calf strain) and Max Strus (left foot surgery). Craig Porter Jr. (left knee soreness) is listed as questionable.
