Candace Owens is sharing more insight into how Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, allegedly grieved following his assassination.

On a Wednesday, January 28, live stream on Owens’ YouTube channel, the political commentator, 36, shared what she claimed was a “corporate-wide call” that took place “five-and-a-half days” after the right-wing political activist was assassinated on September 10 at age 31.

“This is when Turning Point USA employees are told that Erika is going to be replacing Charlie as the CEO and chairman,” Owens claimed.

In the alleged Zoom, the mother of two, 37, appears to tell the staff that she was sorry for their collective loss and said, “We’re going to stay humble. We’re going to work hard because that’s what he would want.”

Erika appeared to tell staff that she felt “so blessed and honored” to be able to carry on her husband’s vision after his death, to which Owens commented: “Blessed and honored — that is crazy work as adjectives.”

Owens claimed that Erika appeared to make staff feel like they are a family only to result in employees being allegedly fired (per a post on Owens’ X account).

Owens then played what she said is the beginning of the alleged Zoom call, when Erika appears to sign on in good spirits.

“She starts by laughing, which I find to be interesting,” Owens said.

Owens provided commentary at various points of the alleged Zoom, doubling down on her point that Erika sounded “like she’s about to cry when she discusses specifically them keeping their jobs, not Charlie having been assassinated in front of the world, but the prospect of their employment.”

“We do not have to imagine if she meant that sincerely because she didn’t. She did not mean that sincerely. After working them all like horses, wrapping them in this way, she’s going to fire a boatload of them without cause or even conversation,” Owens claimed. “That’s actually traumatic.”

Earlier this week, Owens also shared an alleged leaked phone call between the Turning Point USA CEO and her team discussing Charlie’s public memorial service, which took place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, in September.

“Wow, I don’t even know where to begin,” Erika said in the alleged audio. “The fact that we were able to pull off an event of the century is just insane. We had over 275,000 people that attended and stadium overflow.”

Tension between the two women seemingly began when Owens started to publicly question the circumstances surrounding Charlie’s death. The two allegedly met in private to discuss the discourse, but it is unclear where their current relationship stands.

On Thursday, January 29 — one day after Owens shared the alleged Zoom call — Erika posted memories of her husband to Instagram, saying that she thinks about him often.
