Animal zoomies in general have got to be the cutest thing on earth. It’s just a fact. The sun is hot. The earth is round. Animal zoomies are cute. These are all facts. Just take the 6,000-pound rhino in this video, for instance.
This mighty creature may be built like a tank, but in their heart, they are really just a puppy! Their sheer size and speed might make them terrifying, but their puppy dog energy also makes them undeniably cute.
Many people might not think of rhinos getting the zoomies, but as this video shows, they absolutely do! And when they do, their energy is undeniably adorable! It’s almost like someone crossed a tank with a puppy dog, and this is the result, LOL.
Partway through this video, this rhino got extra riled up because one of the zoo staff ran along the perimeter of their enclosure in a blowup rhino costume.
Unsurprisingly, this massive tank puppy was as excited as can be to see another “rhino,” and their zoomies really kicked into full swing at that point!
Instagram user porubskytim hilariously referred to this rhino as a “tactical unicorn” when they wrote, “Love watching the tactical unicorn get the Zoomies! And that rhino outfit is fantastic!”
And Instagram user upbeatnihilist made a similar comment when they wrote, “Get your slammy whammies, you glorious tactical unicorn!”
While Instagram user tierneyhopkins was fortunate enough to witness this rhino’s zoomie extravaganza in person, which they noted was an absolute blast.
They wrote, “We had so much fun watching this in person! Many laps, and she would skid right in front of us and snort loudly! Terrifying at first and then hilarious! We laughed and laughed!”
This Rhino Is Also Super Chill
As this other video shows, this beautiful rhino, who goes by the name of Monica, also has a very relaxed personality. She doesn’t just spend all her time running around. She also undergoes training.
In this footage, she learns to calmly walk backwards in a straight line, which is important when it comes to the zoo staff giving her physical examinations and checkups, such as an ultrasound.
While this particular ultrasound involves the staff getting very up close and incredibly personal with Monica, she doesn’t seem to mind at all. She is a very good girl, and one day she may become a very proud mama, too!
