With the updated composite rankings, Ohio State finished fourth in the team rankings for the 2026 class behind only USC, Alabama and Oregon. Adding in transfers, Ohio State finished second in 247Sports’ overall team rankings for 2026 roster additions, behind only LSU.
The composite rankings for the 2026 class were finalized Monday after 247Sports released its final Top247 rankings for the class. Henry (No. 24) and Johnson (No. 25) were Ohio State’s lone five-stars in 247Sports’ own rankings, though Greer (No. 35), Timmons (No. 47), Guilford (No. 75) and Wilder (No. 81) joined them in the top 100.
The composite rankings also incorporate rankings from Rivals and ESPN, which released their final rankings for the 2026 class last week. Rivals gave five Buckeyes five-star status: Timmons (No. 12), Guilford (No. 17), Wilder (No. 22), Johnson (No. 26) and Henry (No. 31). ESPN gave five-star status to two Buckeyes: Henry (No. 7) and Johnson (No. 26).
