Every child knows that their mama has the best snacks. This is a universal truth and as such applies to every species on the planet. All kids know that when it is time to eat, mama is going to take care of them.

The same is true of this precious little tree Kangaroo joey at the Chester Zoo. In this video, this little guy comes out of his mama’s pouch so that he can munch on some tasty snacks, even though those snacks were supposed to be his mama’s, LOL.

It’s amazing how time flies! Just look at the adorable little tree kangaroo joey in this video. One moment, they were the tiniest little baby ever, barely able to poke their adorable, bald head out of their mother’s pouch, and now they are covered in fur.

They are also able to come out of their mother’s pouch more, and when they do, like almost all kids, they have quite the appetite, LOL. And of course, this tree kangaroo mama, like all good mothers, is all too happy to share her snacks with her baby.

In this instance, that snack is a tasty carrot, which her baby freely helps themself to. It does look like this mama wasn’t expecting her baby to grab at the carrot, but when they do, she doesn’t make a big deal out of it; she just holds the carrot in place so that her baby can munch on it for a little bit before she resumes eating.

She is totally happy to share her food with her baby, and watching her do so couldn’t be any sweeter! Unsurprisingly, social media totally loved the way this kangaroo tree mama shared her food with her baby. Many people commented that this kind act was the cutest, most moving thing they had seen on the Internet all day.

From Jelly to Joey

As this other video shows, this tree kangaroo joey has gone through a remarkable transformation in their young life so far. In this footage, they start out as a tiny blob of jelly before being born and growing into a furry little tree kangaroo joey.

And of course, their loving mama was there to nurse, feed, and cuddle them every step of the way! Here’s to these two, and the powerful beauty of mother-child relationships!
