MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The Boston Celtics are acquiring center Nikola Vucevic from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for guard Anfernee Simons and a second-round draft pick, ESPN reported.
Vucevic, 35, is expected to help Boston’s frontcourt. The former All-Star averaged nearly 17 points and nine rebounds per game during the 2025-26 regular season.

Boston, however, will lose a huge asset off the bench in Simons, 26.
The guard averaged just over 14 points and two rebounds per game.
The Celtics completed the deal ahead of the NBA trade deadline, which is Thursday at 3 p.m.
