Jonah Hill Just Made His First Red Carpet Appearance In More Than 4 Years — And I Truly Didn’t Recognize Him In This New Pic

In 2022, Jonah directed a documentary called Stutz, in which he openly discussed his mental health with his therapist, Dr. Phil Stutz. Ahead of its release, he penned an open letter explaining that his anxiety attacks are “exacerbated by media appearances and public-facing events,” and that he would no longer be promoting his movies. “You won’t see me out there promoting this film, or any of my upcoming films, while I take this important step to protect myself. If I made myself sicker by going out there and promoting it, I wouldn’t be acting true to myself or to the film,” he wrote. “I usually cringe at letters or statements like this, but I understand that I am of the privileged few who can afford to take time off. I won’t lose my job while working on my anxiety. In turn, Jonah was not involved in any promotional content for Stutz, nor did he step out to promote You People, which was released in early 2023. And later that year, he also found himself at the center of a public scandal after his ex-girlfriend of roughly a year, Sarah Brady, accused him of emotional abuse. Jonah did not address Sarah’s explosive allegations at the time, and he’s kept a very low profile ever since. In May 2023, he and his girlfriend, Olivia Millar, welcomed their first child together, and that’s about all we know. Which brings us to today. On Feb. 3, Apple TV unveiled a first look at the upcoming dark comedy, Outcome, which Jonah directed and co-wrote. The story follows a beloved Hollywood star (played by Keanu Reeves) who is forced to confront his demons after a bizarre video from his past threatens to ruin his life and end his career. It’s certainly no secret that Jonah’s look has changed in the past few years. But seriously, I wouldn’t have known that was actually him if someone hadn’t told me.
