A man was shot and killed in Uniontown on Thursday evening, the Fayette County district attorney said.Pennsylvania State Police are searching for 19-year-old Braedon Dickinson, who they have identified as a person of interest in the shooting death of 20-year-old Lemaur Thompson Jr. The shooting happened around 5 p.m. on Dunlap Street.”We have a number of troopers as well as Uniontown State Police Department looking. We will continue to make our best efforts to locate,” District Attorney Mike Aubele said.Early investigation shows Thompson was walking in the area when he was shot, not at his home, but in the middle of the street. Thompson was later taken to Uniontown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A BOLO has been put out for Dickinson.”We believe that he may be operating a blue colored Jeep Compass. We believe he is armed and extremely dangerous,” Aubele said.State police are still early into the investigation, continuing to determine a motive behind the shooting and canvassing the area for surveillance video and witnesses.The district attorney said Thompson and Dickinson were familiar with each other, and advised the public not to approach Dickinson but to call 911 if he is seen.”Right now, I don’t believe there is a threat to the area.
