ASHEVILLE, NC (WLOS) — The Asheville Art Museum is set to illuminate a transformative era in American art with “In a New Light: American Impressionism 1870–1940 | Works from the Bank of America Collection.”
Celebrating the movement that breaks with academic tradition and embraces modern life, the exhibition traces how American Impressionism reshaped the nation’s artistic landscape and helped lay the foundation for modern and contemporary art.
