Actress Lori Loughlin made a rare public outing on February 5 to celebrate Project Angel Food’s opening of The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Kitchen & Foundation. She debuted a fresh new darker hair look for the occasion. It was her first public appearance since the announcement of her split from designer Mossimo Giannulli in October of last year.

Loughlin, who previously rocked dark blonde hair with highlights, went for a darker hue, debuting brunette hair with soft highlights, which she styled in a side part. She wore a long sleeved sheer white lace boho blouse with a subtle peplum detail along with a pair of flared blue jeans and brown leather shoes. She accessorized with an assortment of funky jewelry including a black beaded pendant necklace and a gold bangle.

Loughlin’s representative confirmed the news of her split from Giannulli to InStyle last October. People first reported the news, with Loughlin’s representative Elizabeth Much saying, “They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are no legal proceedings at this time.”
In 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud after being accused of paying $500,000 to secure admission to the University of Southern California for their two daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade. Giannulli received a five-month sentence, while Loughlin received a two-month sentence.

“Things have never been the same,” a source told People following the news of their separation.
“Lori feels betrayed,” they added. “It’s not a happy situation for her. They’re in very different places right now and it’s unlikely that they’ll find their way back together.”
