ILION, N.Y. — The Village of Ilion is warning municipal power customers about expected spikes in their energy bills.
Officials said the municipal power authority held an emergency meeting to discuss the issue.
They are advising ratepayers that the increase is due to an unprecedented rise in market price electric costs.
Customers are expected to see higher bills as a result.
