The Raytown School District has canceled Saturday’s Battle of the Birds basketball game between Raytown High School and Raytown South High School. The district tells KMBC 9 that the call was made out of an abundance of caution after a fight involving students broke out outside Raytown South High School Friday. Officials say all tickets will be refunded, and they’re focused on keeping students and staff safe.
