Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes on again, off again relationship is apparently off again.
And this time it is, apparently, for good.
TMZ reported Friday that the duo have split up again and their relationship has “run its course,” according to sources close to the couple. TMZ said its sources said the two “tried to make it work, but they ultimately decided it wasn’t meant to be.”
The outlet reported the two began dating in early 2023 and moved in together a short time after.
But news broke last September that the two had decided to split up. That did not last long after they reunited in November. Sadly, for fans of the couple, that also reportedly didn’t last long and they have gone their separate ways.
Ballerini, 31, is a Grammy nominated country music star, and Stokes, 33, is an actor best known for his role in “Outer Banks.”
A source told US Weekly last yera that after the two spent a little time apart, “Kelsea wanted to give it another chance and missed Chase a lot.”
The source also told US Weekly that Stokes “never wanted the breakup.”
“He always felt there was something between them and believed they just needed time to cool off and figure things out,” the source said.
And they were reportedly “hopeful this time around will be better.”
People Magazine reported the news of the first split back in September citing a rep for Ballerini.
“They’re two adults who gave it their all and tried to do everything they could to make it work, but ultimately couldn’t,” People reported that a source close to the couple said.
