KPNX will air 11 games in total during the 2026 season.

PHOENIX — After a highly successful partnership in 2025, KPNX 12 News and the Arizona Diamondbacks are teaming up once again to bring several over-the-air games to viewers in the 2026 season.

“Our first year partnering with 12 News exceeded every expectation, not only in viewership, but in how deeply it allowed us to connect with fans,” said Derrick Hall, D-backs President, CEO & General Partner.

Ten regular-season Diamondbacks games and the season opener will air on KPNX, which reaches approximately 1.59 million TV households in the market, bringing fans closer to the action.

“The fan response made it clear that viewers want more over-the-air baseball,” said Kate Morris, President and General Manager of 12 News. “Bringing 11 games to audiences this season, including the national season opener, allows us to expand access while continuing to showcase the team’s deep connection to our community. This partnership is about more than games, it’s about hometown pride, shared storytelling, and serving fans across Arizona.”

12News will again have analysis, behind-the-scenes access and interviews with players with the return of D-backs on Deck with Cameron Cox, Lina Washington and Jake Garcia before each game.
