“It’s just hard to believe he’s the president,” Kimmel lamented.
Trump refused to apologize and instead bragged about how “great” he has been for Black voters.
He eventually removed the video, and Kimmel said “spine-free” Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) somehow managed to use that as an opportunity to thank the president:
Kimmel laughed as the message appeared on the screen.
“Thank you, Senator Cassidy, for reminding us who the real hero of this story (is),” Kimmel said. “That is some triple Olympic-level brown-nosing right there.”
