Trash Collection
Palm Beach County Makes Announcement.

Trash CollectionPalm Beach County just announced its holiday trash collection plan for President’s Day, 2026.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Residents of unincorporated Palm Beach County can take the trash out — as usual — this Monday, Feb. 16. Garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulk waste collection will not be impacted by the Presidents Day holiday.

According to the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (SWA), all disposal facilities remain open and normal routes will be run. Residents are reminded to have their bins curbside by 6 a.m. While SWA administrative offices will be closed for the day, a limited customer service team will remain available by phone or email to assist with any collection questions.

Also open: the SWA’s seven Home Chemical & Recycling Centers will be available for residential, self-serve drop-off. However, residents should note that these facilities will not accept business waste or offer gasoline pour-out services during the holiday.

We remind you that these guidelines and schedules apply specifically to residents in unincorporated Palm Beach County. Those living within one of the county’s 39 municipalities—such as Boca Raton, Delray Beach, or Boynton Beach—should check their specific schedules. We’ll update this post once we receive specific information.

Looking ahead at the 2026 calendar, there are only two holidays when service is fully suspended: Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
