HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Celebrating the 50th season of Survivor, CBS is launching the “Survivor 50 State Challenge.”
Starting Jan. 30, a hidden immunity idol will be placed in each state, giving fans a chance to solve riddles and search for the idol in their local area.
Participants will take part in a Survivor-inspired challenge, solving online riddles and following on-site clues to locate the physical idol in their state. Those who successfully find it can snap a photo and submit it through the Survivor 50 digital hub to officially qualify for the sweepstakes. Winners will earn an invitation to attend the live Survivor 50 finale on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in Los Angeles.
Hawaii’s clue drop is set for 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11 on Oahu. The official idol hunt will begin on Thursday, Feb. 12 between 12–6 p.m.
Each state will host a live, on-the-ground experience inspired by iconic elements of Survivor.
The event is open to all ages and designed for families, fans, and anyone who enjoys adventure and competition.
The Survivor 50 season premiere is set for Wednesday, Feb. 25 on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
