KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The United States women’s rugby team is heading back to Kansas City this spring.
CPKC Stadium will host a double-header of matches as part of the 2026 Pacific Four Series in April, World Rugby announced Wednesday.
The matches will take place on Friday, April 17. Canada and New Zealand will start at 5:15 p.m. CT, followed by the United States and Australia at 8 p.m. CT.
USA Rugby has skyrocketed in popularity largely thanks to superstar Ilona Maher. Kansas City set an attendance record for a standalone women’s rugby event in the United States in May 2025, when Maher was in town, with 10,518 fans on hand. The previous record was just more than 2,000.
