EXCLUSIVE: Jenni Konner has renewed her overall deal with 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
The Girls alumna is working on two 20th TV series. She is co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Bruce Eric Kaplan on the studio’s hit Netflix comedy Nobody Wants This, which the duo joined after the first season. The series, created/executive produced by Erin Foster, has been renewed for a third season.
Additionally, Konner is an executive producer and director on another well received 20th TV comedy series, Hulu’s Deli Boys, which returns for a second season later this year.
Under the new pact, Konner will continue to write, develop, direct and produce series for linear networks and streamers, with an emphasis on platforms across Disney Entertainment Television. She has several projects in various stages of development through her Jenni Konner Productions.
“I feel so lucky to be heading into my seventh year in the Disney family,” Konner said. “What I love about 20th is how hands-on and supportive they are — true collaborators. My producing partner, Nora Silver and I have been energized by what we’ve built with them and we can’t wait to see what we all come up with next. I’m grateful to continue working with Dana Walden, Karey Burke, Eric Schrier, Jane Francis, Carolyn Cassidy and all of the talented people at Disney.”

She is repped by CAA and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller.
