While her real clubs are still MIA, Lee posted a 2-under, 70 during the opening round of the Saudi Ladies International
Alison Lee is currently playing golf in Saudi Arabia, but her golf clubs are stuck in Amsterdam. How does that work?

The Ladies European Tour is kicking off its 2026 season in the desert for the PIF Saudi Ladies International in Riyadh, where Lee is looking to get back into form after giving birth to her baby boy Levi last April.
And so far, she’s looking pretty good! She opened the tournament with a 2-under 70…with rental clubs.
First reported by Golfweek, Lee said that her clubs are stuck in Amsterdam for the time being. So she’s using a driver and fairway metals from a rental set, her irons and wedges are borrowed from the general manager at Riyadh Golf Club, and she bought the broomstick putter she’s using from the pro shop. That’s what I call a “mixed bag”. Her usual set up is a mix of Callaway and Titleist clubs.

Lee birdied her final three holes and sits six shots behind leaders Mimi Rhodes and Hye-Jin Choi. Rhodes is one of our LPGA rookies to watch.
