NORTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Interstate 70 westbound was closed because of a two-vehicle crash in Washington County on Thursday night.

PennDOT said the crash was between Exit 15 (Chestnut Street) and Exit 11 (Taylorstown).

Emergency dispatchers said two people were taken to the hospital by helicopter.

Traffic was detoured to Route 40 during the closure.
