JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — 6AM: Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office shared the updated road closures:
Roosevelt northbound at Plymouth is closedRoosevelt southbound at Old Roosevelt is closedEdgewood ramp to southbound Roosevelt is closedRensselaer east/southeast from Roosevelt is closed
5AM: An active SWAT situation has closed a Jacksonville roadway Friday morning. Roosevelt Boulevard from Plymouth Street to Edgewood Avenue is closed due to police activity, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Action News Jax’s Madison Foglio is on the scene and could hear SWAT calling for a suspect over a loud speaker stating that they have a warrant for their arrest.
