Chet Buchanan departs 98.5 KLUC after more than 25 years on Las Vegas radio

Las Vegas (KSNV) — A big name in Las Vegas radio is saying goodbye.

Chet Buchanan is leaving 98.5 KLUC, according to a social media post.

Buchanan has been a radio host for over 25 years and is well-known for his annual toy drive.

During this event, he stays on a 20-foot scaffold outside the NV Energy office, collecting toys for several days throughout the Christmas season.

Buchanan is also the PA announcer of the Las Vegas Aces and the Seattle Kraken.
