All six postseason berths in the AL have been secured, but the Red Sox entered Sunday as the only team locked into a wild-card spot. The Yankees and Tigers’ wild-card spots were clinched after they missed out on their divisional crowns Sunday.
The Astros, meanwhile, were eliminated on Saturday.
