Part of Interstate 85 in Henderson was shut down Monday morning after a tractor-trailer crash. The road reopened by 7 a.m.
The State Highway Patrol said the 18-wheeler ran off I-85 at Exit 217 near Satterwhite Point Road and hit a guardrail.
The truck ended up stuck horizontally across the road before catching fire.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker was at the scene. The front end of the tractor-trailer was damaged, and it appeared the truck hit a road sign.
Troopers said the fire was quickly extinguished, and there were no injuries.
