A Borough council president is facing charges after allegedly tracking a police vehicle and later interfering with an investigation in Fayette County.Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that Jason Frazier allegedly placed an Apple AirTag on a police chief’s vehicle. He tells Action News 4 that Frazier tried to prevent Apple from giving information to detectives, who sought a search warrant on the technology company. Frazier is currently Everson Borough’s council president. He has since been charged with stalking, obstruction, and harassment. EVERSON, Pa. —

A Borough council president is facing charges after allegedly tracking a police vehicle and later interfering with an investigation in Fayette County.

Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that Jason Frazier allegedly placed an Apple AirTag on a police chief’s vehicle.

He tells Action News 4 that Frazier tried to prevent Apple from giving information to detectives, who sought a search warrant on the technology company.
