Boil water advisory in Danville has been extended to Friday

DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) — According to Danville Utilities, crews continue to work around the clock and are making progress restoring water service.

Raw water conditions are improving, allowing for easier treatment, Danville Utilities said. More areas can expect water and better pressure as the day progresses.

The boil water advisory remains in effect and, due to required testing, has been extended to Friday, Danville Utilities said.

“We will notify the public as soon as it is safe to resume normal use,” Danville Utilities said.
