The United States women’s hockey team faces Canada at 10:10 a.m. on Thursday to play for Olympic gold. Here’s how the Seattle Torrent players have done so far:

SEATTLE — The United States’ women’s hockey team is playing for gold on Thursday in a battle against Canada at the Winter Olympics.

Team USA has dominated in women’s hockey in Italy, allowing just one goal in their first game against Czechia, winning 5-1. Since then, the Americans have shut out every team that has come their way: Sweden (5-0), Italy (6-0), Canada (5-0), Switzerland (5-0) and Finland (5-0).

This year’s team has a mix of experience, including several players from the Seattle’s new Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) team, the Seattle Torrent.

Torrent forward, and five-time Olympian, Hilary Knight is the women’s hockey captain. Torrent teammates Alex Carpenter, Hannah Bilka and Cayla Barnes are also on the ice for Team USA and Julia Gosling is playing for Team Canada.

Torrent players have put up 11 goals for Team USA over the past six games.

Knight scored her first goal of the Milan Games against Czechia with an assist from Carpenter and Bilka. Knight also scored against Finland on Feb. 7.

Carpenter has made three goals so far in the Winter Games, scoring against Czechia, Finland and Switzerland. Bilka scored her first Olympic goal against Switzerland, then went on a hot streak with two goals against Canada and one goal against Italy.

Barnes scored against Italy and Sweden, helping Team USA advance to the gold-medal matchup.

At the 2022 Olympic Games, Canada won 3-2 over the USA in women’s hockey and secured the gold medal. This time around, the Americans are favored to add a third gold medal to the collection following wins in 1998 and 2018.

The puck drops at 10:10 a.m. PT Thursday, Feb. 19. You can watch live on the USA Network and Peacock, or by streaming on NBC Olympics platforms.
