The Minnesota Lynx announced the team’s preseason schedule for the 2026 WNBA season. The Lynx will open preseason play on the road with a matchup against the Washington Mystics on Saturday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. CT. Minnesota will then travel to Kansas City, Mo., to face the Nigeria Women’s National Team on Monday, April 27, at 7 p.m. CT before returning home to host the league’s newest franchise, the Toronto Tempo, at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, May 1, at Target Center.
The historic April 27 contest at T-Mobile Center marks Minnesota’s second preseason game played in Kansas City and the first since 2005, continuing a long-standing tradition of bringing Lynx basketball to fans outside of Minnesota. Tickets for the matchup against the Nigerian National Team will go on sale Friday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. CT and can be purchased at t-mobilecenter.com. Information regarding preseason and regular-season home game tickets will be announced at a later date.
The Lynx will tip off the 2026 season with their home opener on Sunday, May 10, at 6 p.m. CT vs. the Atlanta Dream at Target Center.
