Hope Worries Her Family Will be Forever Fractured on The Bold and the Beautiful
Liam and Hope continue their discussion about Eric at Spencer Publications. Hope didn’t know things were so bad between Eric and Ridge. Liam says he thinks Eric was wounded by Ridge’s actions. He built Forrester Creations from the ground up and felt tossed aside. Hope notes she thought his health was the question. Liam is sure Ridge’s heart was in the right place (really?) but it backfired. Eric said himself part of his motivation was to teach Ridge a lesson. Hope looks at the designs and says he’s proved his point; his designs are gorgeous. She just wishes everything wasn’t so messy as Ridge will be furious and her mother will be beside herself. Liam makes sure Hope understands none of this situation came from Katie. Eric approached her about being Logan’s lead designer. Hope thinks neither the how nor the why will matter when the truth comes out.
Eric Lays Into Brooke and Ridge
Self-righteous Ridge and Brooke light into Katie and Bill for being selfish and using Eric for their own gain. Katie shuts Brooke down and says she didn’t seek out Eric; he offered himself for the job, and Donna backs her up. Ridge says they should have refused as his doctors have noted how much stress his father is under. Bill pipes in saying Ridge is the source of Eric’s stress. He was worried how Ridge would react and now they know, another tantrum. Donna jumps back in and tells everyone to chill out. All she wants is for Eric to be happy. Finally, Eric speaks up saying he is the only one who knows what’s best for him and he calls the shots in his own life. Eric declares he is old but he is not invisible!
