There’s an active recall on approximately 3,370,530 pounds of frozen chicken fried rice products sold across the U.S. and Canada, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). This is due to a possible foreign matter contamination.
The two products affected are Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken With Japanese-Style Fried Rice and Trader Joe’s Chicken Fried Rice sold in Canada and the U.S., respectively. Below is more information on both recalled frozen items:

This recall was announced after the establishment (Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc.) notified the FSIS of four customer complaints of finding glass fragments in the rice products. Check your freezer, and if you have one of the recalled fried rice products on hand, dispose of it and return to your place of purchase for a refund.
