Miniature golf lovers are in fore a treat at Boston’s newest entertainment venue.
Swingers Back Bay, the international crazy golf and carnival arcade company, opened at 777 Boylston St. on Friday.
In addition to being the first Swingers in the Bay State, the Boston opening marks the company’s fourth U.S. location and sixth worldwide. Swingers also operates in Washington D.C., New York City, Las Vegas, London and Dubai.
The 21,000-square-foot venue spans two floors and features two English garden-inspired golf courses, two bars and an arcade in addition to several semi-private event spaces. The Carousel Course is on the first floor — accompanied by The Clubhouse — and the Spinner Course is on the second floor.
Visitors can take their best shot on all 18 holes while staff, appropriately named caddies, show them the ropes. As players tackle spinning carousels and moving Ferris wheels, caddies will bring them drinks upon request. Swingers’ cocktail program features several Boston-inspired drinks, including the Buzzards Bay Mule, Masshole-in-One and Storm in a Tee Cup.
After wrapping up their round, players are invited to earn points and win prizes in Swingers’ signature carnival-style arcade. The arcade is packed with classic games such as Roll-A-Ball, Skee-Ball and Down the Clown. Upbeat music from live DJs will play throughout the venue as well.
Meanwhile, Emmy Squared Pizza, the popular Brooklyn-based chain, is serving as Swingers’ primary food provider. The brand offers slices of its Frico-Crusted Detroit-style pizzas, signature burgers and other bites.
Menu highlights include the Roni Supreme (mozzarella, Ezzo pepperoni and Calabrian chili), Big Hawaiian (pepperoni, bacon, pineapple and chilli glaze) and Colony (pepperoni, pickled jalapeños and honey). All pizzas can be made gluten-free and/or vegan.
Emmy Squared Pizza will also offer its popular burgers — served on toasted pretzel buns — such as The Emmy Burger and Le Big Matt Burger, which has been widely regarded as one of the best burgers in NYC. Other bites will include meatballs in vodka sauce, loaded waffle fries with bacon and cheddar queso, crispy Brooklyn mozzarella sticks and salads.

A round of mini-golf and 30 minutes of unlimited carnival play starts at $25 per person and can be booked online. A limited number of walk-up tickets are also available onsite daily. Guests are also invited to just come for food and drinks.
Swingers Back Bay is open weekdays from 3 p.m. until late and at 11:30 a.m. on weekends.
