Survivor 50’s Angelina Keeley reveals the “ultimatum” she gave production about coming back for the all-star season
After memorably begging a voted-off player for their jacket on her previous season, Angelina made sure to come prepared this time
“It’s me and a jacket or nothing,” she tells PEOPLE about her on-brand negotiation
Angelina Keeley is back on Survivor for another shot at the $1 million prize and title of Sole Survivor, and this time, she’s “coming in hot” — literally — all thanks to her famous negotiation skills.
It’s no secret why the Stanford and Yale MBA graduate was invited back for the all-star season of Survivor 50. When she played on the show’s fan favorite 37th season, with a “David vs. Goliath” theme, she made an impression — from negotiating for more rice with host Jeff Probst to recruiting a wine-sipping Mike White to help her on an idol search mid-reward.
But arguably her most memorable, and certainly her most quotable, moment came when Angelina schemed to get castmate Natalie Cole’s jacket…and asked her repeatedly for it after she was voted out. (Natalie did not give it to her, saying after her post-exit confessional, “Why should I? I don’t have to, and I chose not to.”)
Speaking to PEOPLE in Fiji just days before filming for Survivor 50 kicked off, Angelina is well aware that her “Natalie, can I have your jacket?” line will be top of mind for fans — and she insisted on bringing her own coat this time around so she wouldn’t have to beg ousted castmates for theirs.
After having just a sweater to stay warm at night in her original season, Angelina stood firm on bringing better outerwear this go-around.

“I’m not coming back without a jacket. It’s me and a jacket or nothing,” she says. “I was like, I didn’t want to give him an ultimatum, but this is what it is. And I meant it.”
“My husband’s like, ‘Are you willing to walk away for the jacket?’ And I said, ‘Yeah. I’m not going to play again without a jacket,’ ” she adds.

Since contestants have to get their wardrobe picks approved by production, the California-based business owner and mom of two daughters says she sent “like 40 different links” for coat options.
“I was sending in parkas. I was sending in Sherpas,” she says — once again demonstrating her negotiating skills. While she knew the winter coats likely wouldn’t be approved, she wanted to start high so they could settle on something warm enough.
In the end, Angelina confirms that she’ll have a “great” jacket on the island.
“I won’t be a cold queen anymore,” she says.

When the Survivor 50 cast was announced in May 2025, Angelina poked fun at her possible wardrobe by sharing several photos of herself trying on various options for outerwear on Instagram.
“I just don’t think at this age, I’m meant to live an uncomfortable life,” she captioned the carousel, quoting her two-time castmate Mike’s HBO hit, The White Lotus, on which she made a cameo. “Packing a little different this time around. See you babes on the other side!!”
