The Guardians opened their Cactus League season on Feb. 21 with two victories. They defeated the Reds, 4-2, in Goodyear, and took a 9-6 decision from the Brewers on the road.
• Logan Allen pitched two scoreless innings against Cincinnati, striking out two. Gabriel Arias, David Fry and Carter Kieboom each hit an RBI double. Bo Naylor also doubled and scored a run.
• Nolan Jones led the Cleveland offense against Milwaukee, with an RBI double and a three-run home run. Cooper Ingle also hit a three-run home run. Travis Bazzana drew a bases-loaded walk. Starter Joey Cantillo gave up two runs in 1 1/3 innings, including a solo home run.
The Guardians visit the Athletics at 3:05 p.m., Feb. 22.
