ATHENS – Ohio State was preparing to fake a punt late in the 2022 Peach Bowl when UGA Football coach Kirby Smart didn’t feel right. He was not comfortable with what he was seeing. 

Facing a fourth-and-one from its own 34-yard line, Ohio State was up 11 with about nine minutes left in the game. Another Buckeye first down would go a long way to winning the game for Ryan Day and Ohio State.
