Superintendent John Robidoux just notified the Current that he is canceling school for Tuesday.
The Blizzard of ’26 is still pummeling Marblehead with high winds and snow. The snow is expected to taper off tonight.
“Every resource available in town is straight out,” said Police Chief Dennis King. “Advice — stay off the streets and let the storm pass, which is estimated to be 7 a.m. tomorrow morning.”
DPW Director Amy McHugh said snow removal crews have been working since Sunday at 11 a.m. Plowing will continue until Tuesday.
Marblehead Municipal Light crews have also been working all day, responding to several outages scattered around town.
