The PGA TOUR season is off and running. Brooks Koepka is back in the mix. Chris Gotterup stamped his place in the game with a win in Hawaii. Scottie Scheffler has already added another tally to the win column. Collin Morikawa hoisted hardware for the first time since 2023. Jacob Bridgeman held off Rory McIlroy at Riv.

And now, one of the game’s biggest names has poured a little more gasoline on the fire.

Justin Thomas, who returned to TGL action Monday at the SoFi Center, announced he’ll make his TOUR return next week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club & Lodge. The annual pilgrimage to The King’s Place marks the third Signature Event of the season.

Thomas has been sidelined since undergoing a microdiscectomy in November and hasn’t teed it up in competition since the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black Course. Less than two weeks ago, he shared that he’d been cleared for full golf activity.

In four previous starts at Bay Hill, Thomas has played the weekend every time and logged a top-20 (T-12) two years ago.

If the early-season momentum needed another jolt, it just got one.
