LOWER MERION TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — Police are investigating reports of a possible shooting early Wednesday morning in Lower Merion Township.
Officials taped off several blocks along Old Lancaster Road between City Avenue and Upland Road, just one block from the campus of St. Joseph’s University.
They have also set up tents along Old Lancaster Road next to the Edgehill Road Apartments.
Investigators have set up another tent over an SUV, where a tarp is covering the windshield.
Several evidence markers can also be seen on the ground.
Initial reports of a possible shooting and barricade situation were reported at the apartment complex around 3:45 a.m., but exact details about what is happening have not yet been confirmed.
