When it comes to both red carpet poses and phone cases, Taylor Swift knows her angles.

The superstar’s quickly amassed a collection of Flaunt‘s signature square-shaped tech accessories — and showed off her latest favorite, the Icy Blue Pearl model, in a recent behind-the-scenes video documenting the making of her hit single “Opalite.”

A brand fan of several years, Swift previously flashed her Pink Mother of Pearl and Opal Shell cases (the latter an undisputed “Opalite” Easter egg, if you ask me) on social media as well.

I ordered my first Flaunt case about three years ago, after admiring the pop icon’s “Lavender Haze”-coded pink pearlescent one on TikTok. Unsurprisingly, I was far from the only shopper Swift influenced.

“Her visibility amplified [brand] awareness significantly, but more importantly, it reinforced the idea that a phone case can be part of your fashion identity,” the company’s co-founder and CEO Carlo Argila tells Page Six Style.

“Seeing someone as globally influential as Taylor choose to wear Flaunt organically has been incredibly validating. She has such a strong sense of personal style, so to see her incorporate our square cases into her everyday looks was a huge moment for us.”

Swift’s not the only famous Flaunt fan, either. The company’s right-angled tech protectors have also popped up in the hands of Gigi Hadid, Sofía Vergara, Kylie Jenner and Megan Thee Stallion — and it’s easy to see why so many stars are hooked.

Available in versions to fit iPhones 13 through 17 (including Max, Pro and Pro Max models, both with and without MagSafe) as well as Galaxy and Pixel, these cases are true compliment magnets. Whether I’m resting my phone on a table during a work meeting or having dinner with friends, I’m constantly getting comments on my cell’s shiny, square-shaped sheath.

“We set out to design a phone case that felt like a true fashion accessory. At the time, most cases were purely functional. We saw an opportunity to elevate the category and create something that felt intentional and stylish,” Argila says.

“The square silhouette became our signature because it instantly differentiated us and created a sleek, chic and stylish look. Today, our square phone cases are styled the same way you’d style shoes, a handbag, or jewelry — they’re part of the outfit.”

Accessorizing powers aside, a phone case’s true purpose is, of course, to protect your pricey tech — and Flaunt excels on that front, too.

Those four sharp corners add extra space beyond your device’s curved edges, which provide enhanced shock absorption and extra protection in the event of a drop, according to Flaunt. Plus, the company’s stylish phone covers are all drop-tested at 12 feet for added peace of mind.

For my part, I’ve only used Flaunt cases for the past several years, and I’m a fairly klutzy person. I’ve dropped my phone more times than I can count — on my bathroom floor, in crowded bars, even on city sidewalks — and long story short, it’s survived (so far, anyway).

While these cases might not pack the next-level protection of an OtterBox Defender or a Mous Limitless, they should work for more modest adventurers, and there’s no denying they’re far more fashionable than many of the other options on the market.

“We have a very strong repeat customer base. Many of our customers treat their cases the way they treat their wardrobe. They rotate them for seasons, holidays, vacations, trends, and to just match their mood or outfit,” Argila says.

“That behavior has been one of the most rewarding aspects of building the brand. It shows that the product isn’t just functional — it’s fashion!”
