AUSTIN, Texas — Austin book lovers have something to look forward to this fall.
The Texas Book Festival is returning for its 30th anniversary on Nov. 8 and 9. The free celebration of reading routinely brings hundreds of authors and readers alike to the Texas Capitol.
This year’s festival will feature a number of high-profile headliners, including comedian Chelsea Handler, who will discuss her new autobiography; R.L. Stine, creator of the “Goosebumps” horror franchise; romance novelist Ali Hazelwood and Texas Monthly writer Skip Hollandsworth, who will discuss a new true crime book he authored.
The festival is set to announce its entire lineup of more than 250 authors on Sept. 10. More information about the festival can be found here.
