“Rest in Power, Power,” the group posted to social media platform X.

GZA, a founding member of the group, posted about Grant to Instagram on Tuesday, saying, “We couldn’t have done it without him. Wu wouldn’t have come to fruition without Power. His passing is a profound loss to us all. My deepest condolences to the fam.”

Deadline reported that Grant, who was executive producer of the group’s early recordings and headed the Wu Wear fashion line, died on Monday.
