A new guitar-oriented rhythm game by the name of ‘Stage Tour‘ is being developed by a number of veterans who previously helped create the original ‘Guitar Hero‘ franchise. With the involvement of Kramer – Gibson already locked in for the new guitar peripheral to play the game, RedOctane are pushing forward with a planned fall 2026 release for the this latest attempt to revive the once-dominant rhythm game genre.
That development company previously set out to create a plastic guitar controller compatible with ‘Fortnite Festival‘, ‘Rock Band‘ games and ‘Clone Hero‘. As of press time, there’s no word yet on licensed artists for the game, but the below newly shared reveal trailer may indicate fans of heavy metal will have at least one song to jam on. “Terminator Oscillator” from platinum-certified industrial metal outfit Static-X soundtracks that clip.
