Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is getting good news during the NFL offseason that proves just how how beloved he is in the NFL.

Josh Allen is certainly a popular player with the Buffalo Bills base, and now, he’s getting good news during the NFL offseason that proves just how much of a beloved name he is in the league.

Allen has been the focal point of the Bills offseason so far, largely due to his involvement with new Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who replace head coach Sean McDermott in January. Allen was asked about Brady as soon as his took on the role of coach.

“He’s a real human that guys can get behind and understand and play for,” Allen told reporters at Brady’s introductory press conference. “I thought in his interview, the vision that he had for this team. … He’s going to continue to keep working hard and trying to find ways for our team now to be put in successful positions.”

Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen Gets Honored During NFL Offseason

As it turns out, Allen is popular even outside of the Buffalo Bills. In a feature from Vegas Insider, which dropped shortly after the Super Bowl wrapped up, he was voted the No. 1 “most loved” NFL player by fans, beating out a slew of popular names.

Coming in at No. 2 was Kenneth Grant of the Miami Dolphins, and No. 3 was Cam Ward of the Tennessee Titans.

As for the research in the study, Amy Harris of Vegas Insider notes, “To see which players draw the most praise — and the most criticism — Vegas Insider analyzed Reddit discussions across NFL and team subreddits, tracking how often players are mentioned and whether that conversation skews positive or negative.”

On Allen, she says, “Allen ranks No. 1 overall with a Love Score of 10.0, backed by overwhelmingly positive sentiment across one of the largest discussion volumes in the league.”

The most hated player, and this one is a head-scratcher, was Jalen Hurts, who “ranks No. 1 with a Hate Score of 10.0, separating himself clearly from the rest of the league.” Quarterbacks who made the most-hated tally include Daniel Jones at No. 5, Justin Fields at No. 8 and Aaron Rodgers at No. 12.

Josh Allen Discusses Being Part of the Head Coach Hiring Process for the Buffalo Bills

Allen, of course, was a significant part of head coach interviews for the Buffalo Bills franchise. appearing on FS1’s “First Things First” show on February 3, he talked about what it was like to be so involved with the entire hiring process.

“It was a fun time. It was a unique perspective,” Allen said of the experience and being in on interviews. “A little awkward at times, because I’m sitting there and getting paid to be the quarterback, right?

Allen added, “But I think having that perspective of what the pulse of the locker room is, being able to ask questions and help Mr. [Terry] Pegula, the Pegula family, some of the scouts and, ultimately, [Bills general manager] Brandon Beane, those are the guys who make the decisions, having those questions being asked, they may not have thought of those from the player perspective. It was interesting.”
