It will be the third meeting of the season between the teams. The Warriors won the first meeting, but the Lakers came out victorious in the most recent matchup earlier this month. Whoever wins on Saturday night will take the edge in the season series.

LeBron James will play vs. Warriors on Saturday night

When it comes to LeBron James’ status for the game, the star forward isn’t listed on the official injury report, so he’ll be available to play.

So far this season, James has played in 40 games for the Lakers and posted averages of 21.5 points, 7.0 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per performance.

But while James will be available, Warriors star guard Steph Curry won’t be. Curry has been ruled out of the game due to a nagging knee injury that has kept him sidelined for the entire month of February. So, fans unfortunately won’t get an opportunity to see two all-time greats go head-to-head.

The Lakers and Warriors are scheduled to meet again in April. Hopefully both James and Curry will be available for that one.
