COEUR d’ALENE — The Hagadone Corporation announced an important next chapter for the Hagadone Medical Clinic. Effective July 1, Kootenai Health will assume management of the clinic, marking a new partnership between two longstanding North Idaho organizations committed to strengthening the health and well-being of the local workforce.

The Hagadone Medical Clinic was established in 2023 to provide eligible Hagadone health plan members and their covered dependents with convenient access to high-quality primary care at no cost. Since its launch, the clinic has delivered comprehensive care, including primary care, treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, chronic disease management, medications, and lab services.

This new partnership with Kootenai Health marks a strategic evolution of that vision.

“Kootenai Health has served our community for decades and is nationally recognized for clinical excellence and patient-centered care,” said Clint Schroeder, president of Hagadone’s Communications Division. “By aligning our clinic with the region’s leading health system, we are expanding access, strengthening care coordination, and reinforcing our long-term commitment to our team members and their families.”

Under Kootenai Health’s management, eligible employees and dependents will continue to receive high-quality, compassionate care at the Hagadone Medical Clinic. In addition, patients will benefit from:

• Access to Kootenai Health’s broader network of specialty providers

• Enhanced care coordination across the full healthcare journey

• Integrated medical records within a trusted local health system

• Continued focus on preventative care, advocacy, and long-term wellness

This collaboration connects the clinic directly to a comprehensive regional healthcare system, ensuring seamless referrals, specialty consultations, and expanded clinical resources — while preserving the convenience and personalized care that team members value.

For Hagadone Corporation, the partnership reinforces a simple yet powerful principle: investing in people.

“Our team members are our top priority,” said Bill Reagan, president of Hagadone’s Hospitality Division. “This partnership ensures that as healthcare evolves, our benefits evolve with it. We are building a stronger, smarter, and more connected healthcare experience for the people who power our company every day.”

Kootenai Health leadership echoed that sentiment.

“We are honored to partner with Hagadone Corporation to support the health of their employees and families,” said Jamie Smith, CEO of Kootenai Health. “By bringing the Hagadone Medical Clinic into the Kootenai Health system, we can offer coordinated, high-quality care close to home while preserving the personalized experience patients expect.”

The transition will take effect July 1. Additional details about clinic operations and services will be shared with eligible team members in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
