Tokyo, Japan, March 2 – Sony Honda Mobility Inc. (SHM) today announced, “AFEELA Cup 2026 presented by Sony Honda Mobility,” a limited-time Time Attack competition, coming to Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Polyphony Digital Inc. This event will run from March 2 to 15, 2026. Running alongside the competition, SHM will also host the “#AFEELACupContest,” a social media photo and video competition on Instagram and X for players in Japan and the United States. This skill-based contest invites participants to capture the performance and design of AFEELA 1 through their own creative perspectives.

■Time Attack Competition: “AFEELA Cup 2026 presented by Sony Honda Mobility”

This competition offers players a virtual opportunity to experience the driving performance of AFEELA 1 in a Time Attack format. 

Competition Period: March 2, 2026 0:00 – March 15, 2026 23:59 (PST)
Eligibility: Gran Turismo 7 players residing in Japan or the United States. 
Featured Vehicle: AFEELA 1 (Official name in-game: “AFEELA 1 ’26”) 
How to Enter: From the Gran Turismo 7 “Sport” mode, select [Online Time Trial] and enter the “AFEELA Cup 2026 presented by Sony Honda Mobility.”

■Social Media Contest: “#AFEELACupContest” Details

In conjunction with the Time Attack competition, SHM is hosting a social media campaign highlighting the multifaceted appeal of AFEELA 1. Players are invited to submit original images or videos that capture AFELA’s unique identity. Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme.*

Submission Period:March 2, 2026 0:00 – March 15, 2026 23:59 (PST)
Eligibility:Gran Turismo 7 players residing in Japan or the United States. 
Submission Criteria:Submissions are not limited to the Time Attack competition. Any original images or videos of “AFEELA 1 ’26” captured within Gran Turismo 7 using the PS5® or PS4® capture functions are eligible.

For Residents of Japan:Post on X (formerly Twitter) by mentioning @shmAFEELA_jp with the hashtag #AFEELACupContest. 
For Residents of the U.S.:Post on X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram by tagging or mentioning @shmAFEELA with the hashtag #AFEELACupContest. 

Judging Criteria:Submissions will be evaluated by SHM based on creativity, originality, expressive quality, and relevance to the theme.

Winners in Japan (100 total): ¥1,100 JPY PlayStation™Store Card 
Winners in the U.S. (100 total): $10 USD PlayStation™Store Card
